Launching a new service – Geoprocessing Online

Of course, we are working hard to constantly improve our MyGeodata Cloud services, especially Converter, and fixing known issues because we strive to allow you to convert as many geographic data formats as possible in an easy and smooth way. But last year we made a major decision to bring you the new tools, designed to help you with processing your GIS/CAD data.

Geoprocessing Online

We are launching a new Geoprocessing Online service! There is prepared an initial set of tools, which we intend to further expand soon. Our goal is a single place, where you can prepare your spatial data exactly as you need for your specific project in a smart & easy way.

Geoprocessing Online is a web-based service, just like those on MyGeodata Cloud, providing a wide range of tools for spatial data processing. Its concept is based on the current trend of working online in a cloud environment. There is a set of powerful but easy-to-use tools designed to help you prepare your GIS / CAD data for your further work like visualization in various software, field work with special gadgets, navigation, etc.

The tools are designed for intuitive use in a few simple steps. All you have to do is to choose a tool that is suitable for processing your data, upload the input data, set the processing parameters and after a while just download your processed output data.

Among others, there are several tools that allow you to reduce the size of your data in various ways to make it easier for you to work with. On Geoprocessing Online you can e.g. simplify geometry, reduce coordinates accuracy or clip your data according to the specific area.

Further development

The GPO is currently in the testing phase and we are still working intensively on the system development and widening the range of the offered options. You can look forward to data storage, API interfaces and many other useful tools for complex processing of your spatial data soon.

We will be glad for any comments or suggestions on how we can improve the service. At this very early stage, we also apologize for any technical issues. We will try to resolve them, based on your comments, as soon as possible.
